An air heater is an electric heating device that primarily heats a gas stream. The heating element of the air heater is a stainless steel electric heating tube, and the heater inner cavity is provided with a plurality of baffles to guide the gas flow direction, prolonging the residence time of the gas in the inner cavity, so that make the gas even heating to improve heat exchange efficiency.

  • An air heater is an electric heating device that primarily heats a gas stream. The heating element of the air heater is a stainless steel electric heating tube, and the heater inner cavity is provided with a plurality of baffles to guide the gas flow direction, prolonging the residence time of the gas in the inner cavity, so that make the gas even heating to improve heat exchange efficiency. The heating element of the air heater is a stainless steel heating tube which is filled with a heating wire in a seamless steel pipe, and the gap portion is filled with a magnesium oxide powder shrink tube having good thermal conductivity and insulation. When the current passes through the high temperature resistance wire, the generated heat is diffused to the surface of the heating tube by the crystalline magnesium oxide powder, and then transferred to the heated air to achieve the purpose of heating.

DANGER:

1. Do not place the machine in the places where have flammable and explosive

materials.

2. Make sure it’s off power before carry, connection, test.

3. Do not touch any electric terminal when the machine is running.

4. Wet hand is not allowed to touch the machine.

5. Do not touch any exposed conductive part of the machine.

II. Rationale

1. The air is forced into the air heater by the air compressorand the max temperature of the air can reach to 350℃,the temperature can be adjust by the temperature controller.

2. The signal of the outlet temperature is provided by the thermocouple which is installed in the outlet pipe.

3. When the temperature controller received the signal from the thermocouple, then the temperature controller will drive the SCR to work.

4. There’s another thermocouple which is installed in the flange heater, once the heater overheat, the thermocouple would output the signal and then the heater would shut down automatically.

5. Power: 380V 50Hz.
